Restaurant & Menu Options
We provide an exciting, varied and delicious menu with our restaurant open for students at breakfast, breaktime and lunchtime. We provide choices that students particularly enjoy, whilst seeking to provide a nutritional balance with a range of options to suit all tastes and dietary needs and preferences.
It must be noted that our Chocolate Brownies are the stuff of legend. Just speak to any student – past or present and they will testify that they are, quite simply, world beating!
Breakfast 8.00am - 8.30am
Our restaurant is open daily to students and staff serving our breakfast selection consisting of:
Bacon on Toast or Barm Cake
Cheese on Toast
Buttered Toast
Croissants
Pain au chocolat
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate or bottled water
Breaktime
We have 3 morning breaks for our different year groups which last for 15 minutes:
Break 1: 10.00am – 10.15am for Years 9 & 11
Break 2: 10.30am – 10.45am for Year 8
Break 3: 11.00am – 11.15am for Years 7 & 10
At breaktime, we serve all of the above plus toasted teacakes and sausage on toast.
Lunchtime
At lunchtime we also stagger our sittings in order to accommodate our students in comfort:
Sitting 1: 12.15pm – 12.45pm for Years 9 & 11
Sitting 2: 12.45pm – 1.15pm for Year 7
Sitting 3: 1.15pm – 1.45pm for Years 8 & 10
Our lunch menu is varied and changes from week to week. Our selections include:

Vegetarian options across the menu are always available and we will always endeavour to cater for specific and individual dietary needs.
Throughout the year, we have themed events in the restaurant which will be reflected in changes to our menu. Such events could include Chinese New Year, American Independence, European Day of Languages and Diwali.
Our menus are posted onto our display screens each day.
Further to our selection of main meals, we serve daily, a wide variety of homemade sandwiches and jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings. We have a healthy eating zone which includes a salad bar and a host of delicious low calorie options.
