At Wade Deacon, we firmly believe in the importance of holistic education and the development of well-rounded individuals. The Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze and Silver Award provides an outstanding platform for young individuals to acquire valuable life skills, enhance their confidence, and broaden their horizons. These awards challenge participants through a series of adventurous activities, community service initiatives, physical fitness pursuits, and personal skill development. By taking part in these challenging programs, participants learn vital qualities such as leadership, resilience, teamwork, and initiative. Furthermore, the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme encourages self-reflection and offers opportunities for personal growth and self-improvement. It allows young individuals to step out of their comfort zones and discover hidden talents while also fostering a greater appreciation for nature and the environment. Overall, offering the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver Awards aligns perfectly with our mission to equip students with comprehensive skill sets that will contribute to their future success both personally and professionally.
