Charity at Christmas

We are delighted to report that after day 2 of our Christmas Jumper days we have raised a further £381 for Save the Children. This brings our total up to £552! Along with our Children in Need bake sale, our Senior Prefects and Student Leaders have raised £1218 this half term, a fantastic achievement.

Earlier today we received an incredible number of donations for the Women’s Refuge and The Hygiene bank – literally thousands of items have flooded in. Miss Webster took the donations to the refuge today and they were overwhelmed with the generosity of the Wade Deacon community. They needed a van to transport the items from the meeting point to the refuge!
