I​n memory of Kian

^{It is with a deep sense of sadness that we must announce the loss of one of our Year 11 students, Kian Rose, who passed away on Friday 20th December 2024.}

^{Kian joined the Wade Deacon family in September 2020 and is described by his friends as a gentle giant who was kind, caring and exceptionally funny.}

^{The whole school community will always remember Kian as someone who lit up every room with his abundance of energy and unmistakable sense of humour. Kian was a talented rugby player, who could always be depended upon, both on and off the pitch, he always put a smile on the faces of those he spent time with and he has left us with many precious memories that we will hold on to. We will remember Kian for his infectious laugh, his strength and his unwavering positivity, even in the most challenging of situations. For such a young man Kian inspired so many of those around him.}

^{Kian will be missed by us all, especially by his close friends who will hold on to all the wonderful memories they have shared together, be that in school, through sport or through his love of performance!}
