Wade Deacon Rocks in Musical Spectacular!

Our students have staged one of their most successful musical productions ever with a hugely entertaining take on The Next Generation School of Rock.

Playing to sell out audiences over 2 nights, the cast enthralled with fantastic performances and songs that so many in the audience recognised from Jack Black’s hilarious film - way back in 2004. There really was something for everyone.

This year’s performance involved students in all aspects of production including sound and lighting engineering through to costume design, make up, technical support and stage management – all roles for which the students had to apply and be interviewed!

Principal Simon Corner was thrilled with the performance telling The Weekly News: ‘It was simply exceptional and everything that a school play should be about: inclusive and celebrating the talents and different abilities of all students with everyone working to create something exceptional and magical which is exactly what they did. Brilliant.’
