We’ve Graduated!

A massive well done to 11 of our current Year 10 & 11 students who have just graduated from The Scholars’ Programme organised by Manchester University. This is a significant achievement for our students with their successes reflecting a huge amount of work and dedication. During June & July they had to take part in 5 online tutorials led by Robert Worth from the university. They then had to undertake a period of personal research culminating in a 2000-word Technical Report on ‘Whether Nuclear Power is Safe or Not in the UK.’ Big congratulations go to everyone.

Ms Fraser, who coordinated the programme, was full of praise for our students who ‘had shown unbelievable commitment and dedication to a subject that clearly resonated with them. They are an incredibly talented and hard - working group who thoroughly deserve their success,’ she said.
