WADE DEACON ALUMNI EVENT – A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE!

On Saturday 8th February 2025, we had the absolute privilege of welcoming almost 200 alumni members from the 1940s, 50s, 60s, and 70s back through the doors of Wade Deacon for a truly special day.

Just imagine the shared memories, the laughter, the reunions, and the incredible stories spanning decades! Some old friends saw each other for the first time since their school days, and the air was filled with nostalgia, warmth, and a deep sense of belonging.

Our alumni community has witnessed some of the most pivotal events in modern history, and yet their legacy remains woven into the fabric of Wade Deacon. The values of excellence, resilience, and ambition that shaped their journeys are the very same principles we uphold today.

This was more than just a reunion—it was a bridge between the past and the present. Students of today connected with those who once walked the same halls, and together, they raised money for a new memory in the making—their upcoming excursion to Kenya!

Reconnecting with your school is more than just reminiscing—it’s about celebrating how things were, appreciating how far we’ve come, and seeing the bright future ahead. Wade Deacon is more than just a school; it’s a lifelong community.

A huge thank you to the wonderful Ms. Griffiths ,Ms. Gallagher, who poured their heart and soul into making this event one of the warmest, most emotional, and truly unforgettable gatherings Wade Deacon has ever hosted. Thankyou to all in attendance, and our fantastic maintenance team for once again ensuring everything was perfect.
